So I received a PCN from Premier Park
Attached the notice below, I replied the below in a bit of a rage to Premier Park's appeal... QUOTE Please show me where the signs are for this extortionate fee? I saw no parking ticket machines, no signs on any entrances or exits. I don't know why a reasonable person would expect to be charged to go to a shop. Unfortunately I had to use your car park for a mechanical issue with the car. As you can see in the photos you supplied of my car on a road nearby it's dark, weather was poor as such visibility wasn't good. Perhaps you should look into installing signs people can see. Certainly at least in a place where I can read and review any terms and conditions you may have safely and conveniently. I just looked on google Earth and couldn't see a single sign furthermore any notification of CCTV/ANPR usage. Not even road markings or physical installations such as barriers to show parking was suspended at times. The car park itself was near empty like most places on a Wednesday Evening so I can't see how you lost any income or potential money. So being charged for anything at all is extortionate - despite my car trouble I parked in a single bay at the far end away from shops>pedestrians>vehicles just in case I needed a truck to tow the car away. Can you even tell me why I received a fine at all? They spelt my name wrong, and Swansea Council charge either £50 or £70 as FPNs or reduced by 50% if paid within 14 days. Have I screwed myself? Good news friends, it's been cancelled. Went onto this page as a curiosity and put my details in and this message popped up. Please be aware of this with Premier Park, might be a way of conning people by making them send money by post or phone if they can't access a PC. |

Well done as the registered keeper of a vehicle I am in the throes of appealing to popla relating to a number of points interestingly in your post there is no mention that you should telephone them if you intend being over the 3 hour period. They appear to make rules up as they go along
