Hi all,
I will need a bit of your advice if you don't mind. I took a parking ticket. They said the permit wasn' t clearly displayed. I 've attached few photos.I have been parking in the same place for last 3 years. The permit was displayed as in their photo for the last few months.I own the flat(25%) and the "parking space belongs to the flat". Let me know if I can appeal or it is too late. Can't read the sign but it is interestesting that an adjacent sign says parkig for residents only without any qualification.
Time to get your lease out and see what it says about parking and your rights to park So much better if the space is part of the flat. As the leaseholder, or partial, the lease takes precedence. The lease will not say that you have to display a permit, nor that you have to pay a third party stranger to the lease if you don't display. |

So long as you parked in you alloted bay then you met the terms of your lease. Displaying the permit is thus irrelevant. Yes you can appeal but you will still eventually win even if they reject the appeal!

They will reject anything you say. They just want your cash.
However, they should not be ignored - they need to be told that your lease gives primacy over their signs. It sets the basis for your defence should they decide to take it further. It's up to them whether they decide to issue a court claim. -------------------- RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver

Keep it formal and factual signing off yours faithfully. Do not show any annoyance or emotion as they prey on people who do because they scent that such people might cave in eventually.

Tell whoever hired them toFRO
Cease and desist to the management agent , they likely hired them If you're not sure find out Tell them you were never part of any scheme, never agreed to being part of a scheme, and they are to remove you from any scheme and instruct their agent to cease their harassment of you. |

Thanks nosferatu1001, but I have already sent them the appeal. The appeal is just an email on their website? Shall I send another one with what you've said.

Who is "them"?
If it's the ppc then I'm not telling you to appeal the ppc I'm telling you to go after the organ Grindrr, not the monkey. Who hired the ppc? That's who you INSTRUCT to cease from interfering with your lease. |

Eh? Img 10 says 'we didn't get your address from DVLA, you gave it to us' but Img 11 says 'we got your details from DVLA'
Are these 2 statements on the same letter? Both from the PPC? |

Both statement are on the same letter.
I have called the association and they told me that they can't do nothing. They have employed this company to deal with the parking in these bays and if I have any issues to appeal. I have sent a complaint( written form) on their website last weekend but nothing came back so far. This post has been edited by scuf: Wed, 16 Jan 2019 - 20:30 |

Did you ask or did you instruct?
Its a cease and desst Point out they are interfering with your lease, and this is something that has a monetary value attached, and can result in an injunction against them shoudl they continue to harass you and interfere with your quiet enjoyment |
