Good evening all,
I am hoping someone can offer some advice - I see there are a few ECP threads which has received some great advice, but I wonder if mine has gone too far to appeal/reject now? I received a PCN from Euro Car Parks for staying in a car park over the maximum 2 hours and we are now here: 1) Received NTK from ECP 2) Received Final Notice from ECP 3) Received letter from DRP (£145) Admittedly, I've ignored them, had a hip operation and a holiday to Portugal thrown in the mix. I am wondering what my options are now? Here are the photos of the letters and the sign in the car park If anyone can offer help that would be much appreciated, happy to throw you good folk some beer tokens Best Wishes Jim This post has been edited by jimslater: Wed, 29 May 2019 - 22:15 |

Please remove the PCN reference number from the two notices.
Some PPC read these forums and could identify your info. |

Your appeal should have been :
Dear Sirs, I have just received your Notice to Keeper xxxxx for vehicle VRM xxxx You have failed to comply with the requirements of Schedule 4 of The Protection Of Freedoms Act 2012 namely, but not limited to, failing to give the invitation to keeper in the format prescribed by section 9 (2) (e) of the Act. You cannot, therefore, transfer liability for the alleged charge from the driver at the time to me, the keeper. There is no legal requirement to name the driver at the time and I will not be doing so. I do not expect to hear from you again, or your debt collectors, except to confirm that no further action will be taken on this matter and my personal details have been removed from your records. Yours etc Or go into Morrisons and harangue the manager You can ignore DRP, mere debt collectors. |

Ostell - thank you very much for your input - do you think I can still send that to them in writing or am I too late?
Regards Jim |

ECP will only tell you to deal with DRP
DRP will only tell you that they've examined the case and you owe the payment Morrisons used to be very good for ordering parking companies to cancel these but can't recall the contact details Regarding DRP, always ignore the company This includes letters it writes under trading names like Zenith to make you think you're dealing with somebody new The company also sends fake letters under a solicitor's letterhead but these are easy to identify They tell you to pay DRP and keep the same reference number |
