Should you remain dissatisfied with this decision, or have additional evidence, you may further your appeal to the Appeals Service within 28 days of receiving your rejection letter. Appeals may be submitted online at www.asparking.co.uk or by post at:

Appeals Service (Parking)
PO Box 267
Petersfield
GU32 9FH

You’ll be issued with a 10 digit verification code, which you must use with your appeal to the Appeals Service. This is shown at the top of your rejection letter. The Appeals Service process does not apply in Scotland or to PN’s (Penalty Notices) received at a railway station car park.

I am currently working through this appeals process for a penalty notice someone received at a railway station. This small print makes no sense. ITAL have directed my second level appeal through the process that Freddy has shown.

At the Appeals Service (AS) we assist people who have been issued with a Penalty Notice parking on railway land and who wish to make a second appeal.

Penalty Notices maybe issued on railway land for a variety of reasons and owners have the right to make a further appeal, if their first appeal has been rejected, within a specified time, if they believe they were issued incorrectly or have further evidence to produce.

AS offers a truly independent and impartial Appeal Service.

Clearly ITAL are highly competent and they know exactly what they're doing.

Was it the successor to the Morris Marina or a facelift and rebadging while the Marina was still being produced?

I never had the "pleasure" of driving either the Ital or the Marina. I did have the dubious benefit of an automatic Montego as a company car for a short while, though - automatic as in it selected random gears for no obvious reason automatically, perhaps just for giggles. It was also memorable because when I returned it after 9 months (direct to an auction house - say no more) they wanted to reject it on the basis that the panel gaps were far too large and I must have had some kind of collision; needless to say those yawning and uneven gaps were as built by Cowley's finest.

My father had a Marina in the 70s, and a friend had an Ital in the 80s. They weren't very reliable. The Ital had the loudest indicator I've ever heard. I used to call his car Phil Collins.

It was the replacement for the Marina, but essentially the same car with a facelift by (or blamed on) Ital Design.

The Marina itself was based on the 30+ year-old Morris Minor.

The phrase “polishing a turd” springs to mind.

ital design ?

ir was designed in the UK by Harris Mann

"‘Ital Design was contracted to redesign and engineer the body changes for the revised Marina. The job they did was hopeless – the ADO28 and ADO73 drawings using decimal inch dimensions were completely beyond them.

‘As a consequence, the entire job was redone at Pressed Steel Fisher in Cowley, mostly by third and fourth-year apprentices – the only body engineering resource available.’

So, despite the long-held belief that Ital Design was responsible for the revised styling of the new car, it was somewhat less involved in the process, and bungled what it had been given to do. Of course, the story soon got out that the Morris Ital was actually the work of Giorgetto Giugiaro and, as former BL Public Relations Officer, Ian Elliott said: ‘… why spoil the story with facts, we thought!’

I had a facelift Marina as my first car, the front suspension was carry over Morris Minor with the same torsion bars and wholly incapable of supporting the extra weight, the rear had been stiffened for the extra weight, so the handling was 'interesting' to say the least...

The spotlights in the grills were aftermarket items just bolted down on top of the front panel, when I got mine they were so badly adjusted that one lit up treetops while the other one had the range of a fog lamp.
