Cloned plates, last time I been in London was 10 years ago, the only evidence they provide is zoomed in plates, otherwise I could probably prove its different car (make/colour etc) but atm I'm not sure what is the best way to appeal this.

thinking about it isn't a reg plate of that year supposed fixed with tamper proof tape and not screws?? Not sure what chemicals gave you that flight of fantasy. But no, and there isn’t any and never has been any such requirement. Not least as ‘tamper proof tape’ to retain a plate doesn’t exist. -------------------- There is no such thing as a law abiding motorist, just those who have been scammed and those yet to be scammed!

pretty sure there was something about not being able to remove a plate without it snapping to eradicate the theft of plates for cloning purposes
