Hello everyone,
Partner recently received a PCN for a bus lane offence at the bus gate at Oxford road. I've seen people make comments about the signage on the road, and to the left of the road itself. I'm no expert so I'm a little lost. It doesn't feel fair though! Looking at the councils own website, the description of a bus gate and lane are so very different... "Bus lanes are marked with a white line and the words "Bus Lane" marked on the road. A section of broken white lines in the bus lane means it is permitted for vehicles to cross the bus lane to turn left or into an adjacent loading bay." A screenshot from google maps, from March 17 (I do not know if it has changed since without going back to Manchester) has the only warning in the run up to this as a sign by a bus stop, which would so easily be obscured if there was even a single decker bus at the stop. Does anybody have any suggestions? |

Check my thread at http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=117131
In particular I did notes at my TPT hearing which I posted at #56 and also quoted the official decision at #61. This post has been edited by Umtwebby: Wed, 21 Feb 2018 - 08:06 |
