Retention of details by PPC

Back in Jan i had a letter from a PPC, which. following Ostells template, they cancelled

I THINK i may be getting another, same car park.

If they refer to the previous letter, have they committed anything by retaining my details?

Yes, no, maybe. Not specific enough to comment.

If they have retained personal information longer than necessary then that might breach data protection law.

But usual process will be to contact the DVLA and send the love letter without reference elsewhere.
