Presumption is that this is bang to rights but just in case.
https://ibb.co/CPzZZdb https://ibb.co/D1RVJP0 Bus lane experimental TRO is here: https://www.bathnes.gov.uk/sites/default/fi...reet_2120_0.pdf I presume they're allowed to use a no motor vehicles sign and issue a PCN for being in a bus lane? (As opposed to issuing the PCN for driving past a no motor vehicles sign) Edit: adding location https://goo.gl/maps/H39H1ibAgcXaQcU16 This post has been edited by Chutzpah: Fri, 1 Jul 2022 - 10:37 |

What's the date of the alleged contravention? If it's 31 May 2022 or later then the council have a hard deadline of 56 days to respond.

How did you make representations, online or by post?
If online, then: You put every date in your timeline above except the one that counts, i.e. the date that you made representations which is 6 July. I can't see the docs says they do not exist, but if the contravention was 3rd June then service of the PCN must be by the 30th of June day 28 so the PCN is served out of time

Either use https://imgur.com/ (which doesn't have that stupid auto-delete thing) or google drive, dropbox or similar. -------------------- If you would like assistance with a penalty charge notice, please post a thread on https://www.ftla.uk/index.php

All,
Apologies that I didn't reply sooner as I've been out of the country. I think there may have been some inadvertent confusion above, my response has already gone back explaining the initial PCN was issued out of time. The subsequent question was how long they had to respond to me. I arrived home just after midnight with no letter received from the council whilst I was away. However when I enter the notice number on their online portal to pay it I see the message "There is currently nothing outstanding on this notice", so I'll continue to see if I get an update in the post (strike day today) (nb I wasn't trying to pay it, just seeing if the online portal said anything) |

If you made representations online on 6th July then the 56 days are up and you've won. It might be that the council have realised this and have cancelled the penalty.
