I had a friend once who was loudly admonished for having a corkscrew in his hand luggage, which was swiftly confiscated. Because stories abound of entire aircraft being taken hostage by a corkscrew wielding maniac. Well the 911 hijackers managed with box cutters - which look more innocuous than a corkscrew.. |

Who is they People. And when they need to ...... In enclosed indoor spaces where they may come into contact with other members of the public. What are you saying or implying??? That I couldn't care less if people want to keep their masks on when they're outdoors, or in their car. The thing that I do care about is them wearing them when they're in an enclosed indoor space with other people. |

Well the 911 hijackers managed with box cutters - which look more innocuous than a corkscrew.. Pretty certain "box cutters" in the US refers to what we would call a Stanley knife/utility knife. Not the ones used in retail here to open boxes. Maybe just me but I'd rather have a corkscrew used in anger against me than a folding utility knife. |
