So a driver who got an interim ban to enable him to complete his first year law exams gets straight into his car and drives off, you couldn't make it up

You would think that even a first year law student would understand that a ban is instant and that effectively sticking two fingers up at the judge (who has just shown some leniency in postponing sentencing) is not the brightest thing to do.

You would think that anyone would know that, since it would have been clearly explained to him by the judge.
