I've moved address a while ago and totally forgot to change my address on my v5c logbook, visited my parents after a period of time to find 2 pcn letters from UKPS
1st letter is demanding £60 2nd letter demanding £100 as I didn't pay the £60 fine The first letter has a picture of the driver driving into what they thought was free to park as its private land with a few shops surrounding them and another picture of the driver getting out of the vehicle It appears a club has issued the fine on behalf of ukps the letter states non customer parked in a customer only car park This is the first fine the driver has received during this period. The driver parked here on several occasions to buy food from a takeaway and didn't realize they had to pay. So they are expecting more fines to come through We would appreciate any advice as the driver has a few days left before the fine is increased to £160 This post has been edited by Tomi1921: Sun, 7 Jun 2020 - 16:42 |

Yes, because then you have engaged, and told them early on that they have no chance.

The keeper has now received a debt recovery letter
https://ibb.co/HPsJ4D3 Apologies, the keeper hasn't put together an appeal letter yet Can the keeper still appeal? If so do they now need to make the appeal to the debt recovery company? This post has been edited by Tomi1921: Thu, 18 Jun 2020 - 19:36 |

The debt collectors aren't interested , and probably neither is UKPS now. But you can but try

Yes, they can enforce if they choose to.
If you do an appeal it shows you are engaging. Do not send any appeal to debt collectors. |
