Remove that picture and the pdf
You've left all the identification info I think your argument that 3.59 meant the afternoon is a bit thin According to the confirmation text, the payment system uses the 24 hr clock You need something stronger for POPLA such as missing, confusing or illegible signs NCP signs are particularly poor with acres of fine print that nobody will ever read This post has been edited by Redivi: Tue, 18 Dec 2018 - 17:37 |

The signs will normally say what "a day" means
Apart from 24 hours, common variations include midnight and when the car park closes If the signs are silent on the subject there are several possible explanations 1 You only paid for 12 hours (your mistake) 2 You only paid for 12 hours (system mistake) 3 NCP defines a day as 12 hours or it starts/finishes at 4 am The Consumer Rights Act 2015 S69(1) says that if different meanings are possible, the one most favourable to the consumer will prevail What can you remember of the sign and the tariff ? Edit : I see this was an online booking Can you provide a link to the site ? This post has been edited by Redivi: Tue, 18 Dec 2018 - 19:58 |

That link only goes to a mobile phone payment portal, from the look of it.
3.59 is the same as 0359. This is confirmed by the entry on the recipt of 1539. You (and we!!) are wasting to much time and energy over a baseless argument. You should, by now, be reading loads of other recent threads to get a feel for the process and realise that there are many more solid grounds upon which NCP can be beaten that arguing about marginal clock interpretation issues. -------------------- Cabbyman 11 PPCs 0

So I’ve asked for help compiling a popular appeal and all you are doing is being a knob? Why bother replying if you are not going to help. |

Apart from 24 hours, common variations include midnight and when the car park closes 3 NCP defines a day as 12 hours or it starts/finishes at 4 am Train stations - the expiry time is well past the last train but before the next morning start. -------------------- RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver

Makaveli - hes not "being a knob", hes pointing ut your argument has no merit.
Thats helpful, as it stops you wasting your time on something doomed to failure. Youre on an advice forum. That advice included "stop pursuing that topic, it has no merit" |
