In the last few days I've had a several occasions where the page loads normally (visually) but I can't click on anything, there are no links, I can't click into a text box or anything. Refresh the page and it works fine.
Google Chrome browser on a Windows laptop (windows 7 pro SP1) or the Google Chrome app on an iPad.

Nothing's changed at our end, and I haven't been able to reproduce that behaviour using Chrome on Windows 10, Ubuntu or Android, so I'm at a bit of a loss to explain it or find a cure. Really it sounds more like a browser or firewall thing, filtering out URLs.

(BTW, I admire your courage, or the size of your employer's wallet, if you're still using Windows 7 online six months after the end of standard support!)

Fredd

Company laptop and our policy is dictated by our offshore parent company who are notorious for not liking to pay for software maintenance of any sort. Just stick to visiting any dodgy websites on the iPad!

When I retired a couple of years ago I still had a lot of XP in the field. Some critical sites were earlier. My clients were somewhat reluctant too.

I can think of at least one major UK bank that was still using XP and Internet Explorer 8 several years after Microsoft ended all support.

No, I am not a lawyer.
