I updated an older thread about a PCN, but thought I should create a new topic?

I have received my third PCN in the last couple of weeks this morning. All of them saying I was there for 6, 8 or even 15 hours (overnight).

The APNR is not picking up my exit every time.

The last one I received this morning is from over two weeks ago. They say it was issued 10 days ago, but it only came this morning.

It seems that if I am getting these every few days now, there must be hundreds of people getting them.

I am responding to each one individually, saying your ANPR is defective and I will be complaining to DVLA if you don't cancel.

But, is there something else that I should do?

Thanks

Has your rear number plate got some screw positioned or something else that might make a mis-read likely?

Carry out your threat but also ask the DVLA for the details of every occasion that the company accessed your file as registered keeper
If it wants to recover payment from the registered keeper it must make a separate application for every PCN
It can't use the details on file

It's either made multiple applications without reasonable cause or is failing to pay the DVLA £2-50 each time
Either way the DVLA won't be happy

Does your phone have location tracking or can you produce other evidence that you, if not the car were elsewhere at the time ?

Is the company a member of the British Parking Association ?
If so, appeal every PCN separately but not provide the evidence

When the company rejects the appeals, it will provide the access codes for the second real appeals to POPLA where you will produce the evidence
Every POPLA appeal will cost it £30

SEPERATE to the appeals I would submit a separate complaint to their data controller PLUS the DC for whoever owns the land for the repeated misuse of your data due to their deficient ANPR installation.

Insist they cease processing your data and that you will be complaining to the ICO unless they cease forthwith for all current and future PCN's. Inform the DC at the landowner that you hold them vicariously liable for the actions of their agent.

Carry out the threat by going to the ICO.

Does the PCN show an entry and exit photo or two entry or two exit? There was recently a case I'm aware of where the photo's showed two exits, thus supporting the recipients claim it was a double dip.

It is an arrival and departure photo.

They are members of the BPA.

I have CCTV and iphone evidence as needed.

My number plate is clear and clean as can be.

Thanks everyone.
