Dangerous parkers in Sutton Coldfield were the target of a special operation by road traffic police teaming up with community bobbies.
Officers from West Midlands Police’s Road Harm Reduction team joined forces with Sutton Vesey PCSOs to crackdown on drivers parking their cars in dangerous locations in the Boldmere area.

While I am not a fan of much parking enforcement, this latest operation is not too far from where I live.
And cannot find any cause for complaint as there are some right plonkers out there who do not give a damn where they park.

3 points and 100 quid is a little more deterrent then a decrim PCN, which some of those pictured would warrant, at 70 notes (35 if paid at discount)

The police like to sit in my street getting people for parking. The wait watching the zigzags across the road and then book people for parking on them.

All the while, other cars park literally across junctions and double park at corners and the police do nothing. Far more interested in those zigzags.

And its not a de-crim area, so all parking is still the responsibility of the police.
