Hi All

I received a lovely £100 PCN from Parking Eye this morning 14/09/18 for a 23-minute stay in a Premier Inn car park. I was not the driver of car or on the journey.

Previously I have ignored PCNs based on the good people in this forum and it worked out well but the impression I get now is it's not recommended, especially with BPA accredited cowboys.

Partially irrelevant detail but I'll include it anyway.
- The time was 3 minutes to check if they had a hotel room and the rest my other half being sick in their toilet with severe morning sickness.

I'd really appreciate any steer on the best way to deal with this.

Not on this forum you didn't get the advice to ignore!!! Not since 2012.

With PE need to show the back of the PCN as well.

Have you contacted the MANAGER of the hotel and complained bitterly about the charge, then head office.

Thanks, Ostell, that seemed too simple so I was all geared up for a letter and court. I was expecting "Computer says No" from the hotel.

Pleased to say I just got off the phone to Premier Inn, Margate, who after listening to my explanation, immediately confirmed they'd rescind the charge with PE directly. He said it was an automated system and not to worry if another letter came in as it takes 3 weeks.

It's PE and they just keep going so if you can get an email from the hotel confirming that PE have been told to cncel then so much the better.

If it does get to court then that confirmation would be extremely useful
