Essentially - driver went to local hospital on a Sunday went to pay via the paybyphone app and was informed parking will cost £0 from 05th may to 07th may. Going by this it seems parking was free for a Sunday and bank holiday (May Day). Anyways driver was in at 10 and out by 11 assuming all is good
Driver then received a parking charge notice from uk CPM 10days later. The app keeps history of payments made so evidence of attempt is there. However, when going to appeal via theias.org it doesn’t recognise the ticket number...seems like a purpose built trap Advice guys - tried keeping up with some of the threads and appreciate may be something out there already Much appreciated |

However, when going to appeal via theias.org it doesn’t recognise the ticket number...seems like a purpose built trap You have to appeal to the parking company first. Going by this it seems parking was free for a Sunday and bank holiday (May Day). What did the signs say? -------------------- RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver
PoFA=Protection of Freedoms Act, SAC=Safety Awareness Course, NIP=Notice of Intended Prosecution, ADR=Alternative Dispute Resolution PPC=Private Parking Company, LBCCC=Letter Before County Court Claim, PII=Personally Identifiable Information, SAR=Subject Access Request Private Parking - remember, they just want your money and will say almost anything to get it. |

The instructions on the back of the letter states through the above. May have misread so will check Going by this it seems parking was free for a Sunday and bank holiday (May Day). What did the signs say? To be honest being in such an emergency - thought the app was sound so signs weren’t checked, will have to check the signs but took the apps word |

That aside it's definitely worth contacting the hospital (PALS) as soon as possible to see if they can interject.
The parking company WILL reject any appeal (unless there really was an obvious error) and do raise court claims.
