And what was the driver doing for 2hrs 45mins in what appears to be a max. 2hr car park? Did they patronise the store, if so when was their receipt timed and for what amount. |

In addition to answering the above questions, if the driver was a customer of the Morrisons, then contact the management there. Anecdotally Morrisons are often fairly willing to intervene.

Yes, there was shopping done and bank statement shows deductions but dated the day after; assume delayed.
Not possible to attend morrisons till just before expiry but will do. Email sent to Morrisons. Thank you. |

No, don't do it by email. Take the PCN and go into the store and ask for the MANAGER.
Dear Sirs, I have just received your Notice to Keeper xxxxx for vehicle VRM xxxx You have failed to comply with the requirements of Schedule 4 of The Protection Of Freedoms Act 2012 namely, but not limited to, failing to give the invitation to keeper in the format prescribed by section 9 (2) (e) of the Act. You cannot, therefore, transfer liability for the alleged charge from the driver at the time to me, the keeper. There is no legal requirement to name the driver at the time and I will not be doing so. I do not expect to hear from you again, or your debt collectors, except to confirm that no further action will be taken on this matter and my personal details have been removed from your records. Yours etc |

If you haven't returned to store as yet then it's also worth using Morrison's online portal.

 by far the easiest option! And good to know Morrisons are still good at cancelling charges for genuine customers.
