My wife received an NTK from Euro Car Parks, she jumped the gun and lodged an appeal through their website saying that the fine was not fair for the amount of time they overstayed. Obviously this was rejected. Now that I've looked into it for her, the NTK was received well over the 14 day NTK limit so she could and should have just used that. Sadly, although she can't remember what she selected on the online form, I'm pretty sure she would have said she was the driver. Now that she has a POPLA code from the rejection letter, is there any hope she can use the 14 day thing in the POPLA appeal? Or has she screwed it up with the online appeal?

If there was a windscreen ticket then they have to deliver between day 28 and 56. No windscreen ticket then it has to be delivered within 14 days.

There was no windscreen ticket, just the NTK sent after 14 days (NTK had photos of the reg plate). My concern is that I believe if they know you were the driver then that changes things? The 14 day NTK limit is only relevant if they can only determine you are the keeper? |

So you have no record of the appeal?
If they know the driver then POFA is immaterial. You've got nothing to lose so just assume they don't know the driver and put all the POFA fails in the POPLA appeal |

The problem with doing that POPLA is that if it fails she'll have to pay the full £90, rather than the £50 reduced fee! |
