Hi there,

I have recently received a NtO from Warwickshire County Council for 'Parking wholly or partly in a suspended bay or space (21)'. I am looking to appeal on the basis the sign was (1) non-compliant and (2) defective.

Here is a picture of the sign:

1.) Warwickshire County Council do not appear to have received authorisation for the sign from the DfT (cannot find authorisation on DfT website). Does this mean I can appeal on the basis the sign is non-compliant?

2.) The suspension notice states 'ALL Bays' on Dormer Place. However, in the picture below there are cars parked in bays on the other side of Dormer Place which are not being ticketed. Is this a valid reason to appeal?

Would either of these be valid grounds for an appeal?

It wasn't letting me appeal online so I rang the Council who have informed me that the ticket has been cancelled due to a "processing error" at their end. I assume the FoI request had some role to play in this. Thank you all for your help.
