Hi, would love some help please.

I live in Scotland.

I got a letter from civil enforcement re a supposed parking overstay way back in August

It showed 2=pics of my car but nothing else.

Car park said limit was 45 mins and I’d stayed for an hour.

I also would get my lunch from there so would sit in car and eat it, and I also suffer from migraines with aura at times so might have sat because of that, it’s that f ar back I can’t remember.

Thing is I think photo time has been doctored, reason being 1 finish work at 1 pm, takes me 10-15 mins to get to my house from work, and place of alleged incident is a further 5 mins up the road.

Plus there are at least 9/10 sets of traffic lights and 2 major roundabouts on my way home.
So the time they said I’d arrived is iffy..

Do I appeal to popla first or the parking company?
Can I go into place who own the ground and ask to get this cancelled, is an ANPR car park.

Ta in advance for any advice

You edit your post so that the identity of the driver cannot be inferred, use "the driver......." etc. The driver drove and parked, the keeper receives the letter.

And then, as it's Scotland, you ignore.

There is no keeper liability in Scotland so if they don't know the driver then they are lost.

I don't think CEL issue court claims in Scotland?

--------------------
RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver
PoFA=Protection of Freedoms Act, SAC=Safety Awareness Course, NIP=Notice of Intended Prosecution, ADR=Alternative Dispute Resolution
PPC=Private Parking Company, LBCCC=Letter Before County Court Claim, PII=Personally Identifiable Information, SAR=Subject Access Request

Private Parking - remember, they just want your money and will say almost anything to get it.
