Hi
I was wondering if anyone can possibly help with this, this was a ticket received at highpoint in Hayes. attached a copy of the letter. It was sent to the registered keeper so it has gone it that address. The driver turned into the road and whilst turning someine came out of the car in which time it is suggested that a parking ticket was issued. The car did not stop for more than 10 seconds (if that), now it's not understood how this an offence or if there is any way of appealing this. This is my first post on the forum Thank you This post has been edited by Mummybrain: Fri, 21 Jun 2019 - 21:36 |

Do not hint at the driver, use "the driver ......" etc
Search for the many other High Point threads to get some idea how to handle this. It is winnable It's not a fine, it's an invoice for an alleged breach of conditions. |

Are you sure it was you who received this? It would have been addressed to the Registered Keeper, surely?

The driver of the car is different to the registered keeper, who.it has been addressed to. Going to try and find the thread you are discussing from earlier.

But its supposed to be sent to the Registered Keeper, and you've said you aren't the Registered Keeper.
The point I am making is (a) the person who the Notice to Keeper is addressed to ought to be the one who responds to it and (b) if the Registered Keeper and Driver are two different people, then there is an opportunity for the Registered Keeper to use that as a defence/appeal point (if, for example, the parking company haven't complied with the legislation relating to Schedule 4 of the Protection of Freedoms Act, and a lot of them don't). This is why it's important that you do not reveal on here who was driving and simply refer to them as 'the driver'. -------------------- Sometimes I use big words I don't understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

The attachment is a recent letter in response to the appealed PCN. They have claimed that the vehicle was parked and this is the reason for the PCN, however it is clearly seen that the vehicle was only in the road for 15 seconds and was not parked.
Should a response be written back to this letter? TIA |
