Hello, everyone, I need some advice, please!
I returned to my car earlier today to find it gone, and long story short it has been towed by the council (Whitby Avenue vehicle pound) I parked on a single yellow line as usual in Wembley and it was always allowed except on event days. Apparently a new signed was installed to say not allowed to park between 8am-9: 30 am (1hr 30 mins restriction) and I must have missed it because it was dark the night before, however, I checked that the next day and there were no signs warning that towing was in operation!! Also, I believe I did not block or obstructed the Road as it was a dead end. (North End Road, Wembley) The PCN was issued at 8:15 and the car was taken at 8:42, Less than 30 minutes, I was not even given a chance to move my car! Guilty I am, parked on a single yellow line during the restricted hours and I'm happy to pay the PCN. The question is - I have been told they got my car around 8:42AM and the PCN was issued around 8:15AM.I was not even given a chance to see the PCN and move my car which I found it so unfair. So I think Those guys towed the car and issued the PCN almost simultaneously! My point is - any chance I get something back if I appeal? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Well it will cost you no more to argue that the tow was disproportionate and this has been successful in the past .
Post all the documents you recieved ALL the photos, they should have some of the removal and a GSV showing wher you parked -------------------- All advice is given freely. It is given without guarantee and responsibility for its use rests with the user
