Hi,
I just received my NIP today. Doing 51 on a 40 mph. I am a private hire driver, i rent the car from somebody else. He named me as his driver, and as having the car at that time. I do have other 3 points for doing 36 on a 30, dated about a year ago. Do I still get a chance to have a Speeding Awareness Course? For my first time a year ago, I have not taken their offer. Will they offer it again this time? For my area (hampshire) guidances are 10%+6 mph. I am just over this limit with 51 instead of 50. If not, how much can this process be delayed? And: What do I do next? Please help. |

Why are you trying to delay? There is no advantage in delaying proceedings.
Your speed is just outside of SAC, so expect COFP - 3 points and £60 fine. You need to return the S.172 naming yourself within 28 days of receipt. -------------------- |

PM received.
You can delay sending the S.172 until 25-26 days after receipt. You need to return it Special Delivery to arrive no later than 28 days, else you risk 6 points and large fine. -------------------- |
