This is meant lightheartedly before I get too much grief.
Really frustrated, I drive a van so subject to the silly speed limits on dual carriageways etc.In general I behave these days, get on the A38 set the cruise control to about 63mph and pootle along to my destination. Usual story see a camera van and smile nicely to the gentleman smug in the knowledge that I'm below the dreaded letter speed. Of course once I'm past the camera van all bets are off I'm joining everyone else up in the 70's safe in the knowledge they wouldn't be so tight or bloody minded to stick two vans on one bit of road....... until today! Only just spotted it in time hopefully.I think it's bloody unsporting to double up on camera vans that's not how the game works in my mind. This is Devon and Cornwall police, I believe we have the most miles of road of any force and they manage to stick two vans with 1.5 miles of each other, how do they cover the other 13500 miles of road? |

Well, if they did catch you I guess that proves their strategy works .... |

You could just lobby your MP to get the speed limit changed...

Maybe the police don't view catching people who are breaking the law as a game?

My top money-saving tip for D&C would be to have a word with these guys if the denizens of that region are simple enough to think that spotting one sign of enforcement means you're in the clear for the rest of the day - doesn't seem necessary to use a real van for the job. -------------------- Regards,
