Hi folks,
Can anyone advise if there are other speed cameras other than the Hadecs on the sides of the gantry through this area up to St Albans? Was speeding yesterday but not past these Hadec cameras and I’m really worried. Can these cameras measure your average speed also. Thanks in advance. |

Was speeding yesterday but not past these Hadec cameras and I’m really worried. It's easier not to speed - especially on major roads. (There's a small allowance over the speed limit, +10%+2mph which gives you some grace before enforcement) Can these cameras measure your average speed also. No. HADECS3 only measure past the gantry. -------------------- RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver

Thanks for coming back.
Does anyone know if hadecs are the only type of camera around this area of the m1. Or are there other types? Can they be non yellow? Sorry for so many questions. |

The only fixed cameras are HADECS. Doesn't preclude a mobile van on a bridge however.
