The speed is already conveniently calculated for you... (40/41mph)
Being facetious, but the speed measurement is virtually instantaneous - you can't do time over distance checks with sufficient accuracy with those pictures... how do i know if the calulated speed is correct An approved device, operated correctly, will be presumed correct unless you can show otherwise. Do you think the speed is wrong?
As JLC says it is very likely accurate unless you have a good reason to doubt. Speed, distance and time calculations are unsatisfactory over the period and reference points in the video. The laser measures the speed in about 0.3 seconds. |

just wondered really, and thought it would be good to check as you never know the machine might be wrong! It might. But you'd have to show it was. -------------------- RK=Registered Keeper, OP=Original Poster (You!), CoFP=Conditional Offer of Fixed Penalty, NtK=Notice to Keeper, NtD=Notice to Driver

Very unlikely to be wrong, that’s pretty much textbook.

Presuming this was in a 30 zone, are you contesting that the measurement is 10 mph (i.e. over 30%) out?
