Hi,

I had parked in front of a dropped footway, not being familar with the area I hadn't even notice!
Any chance of appeal or should I just pay? Broxbourne council does not have an online service
to check for photos but yes I had parked in front of the footway, you can see the images here:-

What is the purpose of the Dropped Kerb? Is there one on the opposite side of the road?

Please post a GSV (Google Street View) link to the location.

QUOTE (Karim @ Tue, 14 Nov 2017 - 22:50) *

Pedestrian Access.... one on far side of road on corner to match.

But, although there are no parking pole signs, this is a marked out parking space.
And a designated parking space is an exemption to the law on DKs.
I doubt this would fall into "designated" but there is a conflict on signage.

The DK needs no signs, it's shape and format is deemed enough.
But a marked parking place conflicts as this allows parking across a DK.
If the council want to enforce on a DK, they cannot put conflicting signs that promote the idea that parking is okay.
